I'm also not sure about Jacks and Neem oil and the interaction with the bees for either bug problem. Ready-to-use products make spot application of Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew easy and fast. I planted alyssum and marigolds and don't think they helped much. While not strictly an organic gardener, i don't want to spray poison on my veggies. I don't want the stink bugs in my front yard where my bin is. Now when i cut off leaves, i spray them with Sevin before putting them in the bin. Even ensuring the lid was closed i found a stink bug on the lid. But I'm not sure it kills the eggs? Was cutting off squash leaves with clusters of eggs on the underside and putting in yard debris. Other common insecticides that are popular among users include BioAdvanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease & Mite Control, Bonide Insect Control Systemic Granules, and Bonide Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew. If the arrangement is intended for an ensemble, two consecutive notes, identical in pitch, should always be considered as being tied, at least as far as the Quasi-Static Solutions are concerned. In order to guarantee coherence to the harmonization, the functions of the chords should be always taken into account.įor the sake of clarity, we underline how the harmonized notes coincide with the upper voices. The procedure is carried out by exploiting the inversions of the chord and/or adding tensions, altered or not It is possible to harmonize different notes, even if they are adjacent, by resorting to the same kind of chord. It is advisable (not compulsory) to avoid clusters involving external parts Ĭonsistent with the concept of 4-Way Close (from now onwards 4WC), the interval between the external voices must be no greater than a major seventh Īny major seventh, minor seventh and dominant seventh chord can be tonicized by resorting to the corresponding (functioning) secondary dominant (e.g., G7 can be preceded by D7) Īny dominant seventh chord, if it is regarded as provided with an added flat ninth, can be replaced by a diminished chord built on the (major) 3rd, the 5th, the (minor) 7th, and the flat 9th Īny major seventh and dominant seventh chord can be preceded by the corresponding diminished auxiliary chord (e.g., G7 can be preceded by Gdim7) The motion of the parts must not be contrary: consequently, it can be parallel, direct or oblique In jazz, the fundamental “rules” characterizing an effective harmonization process are the following: In detail, we accurately discuss major seventh, dominant seventh and minor seventh chords, briefly mentioning the half-diminished chords.īy starting from the explicit writing of the so-called 4-Way Close voicings, built on the conventional jazz scales (such as the Be-Bop Major and Minor Scales), several useful harmonizations of the chromatic scale are herein explicitly deduced and thoroughly analyzed. We propose different harmonizations of the chromatic scale in different contexts. Older family members may also enjoy having a clock, calendar, and weather functions on their frame. It’s also gratifying to set how long each picture displays, randomly shuffle the images, or put them in order by date. These next few options aren’t must-haves, but touchscreens (to easily access menus), motion sensors (that only activate the frame when someone is nearby), and speakers (that can be muted) are handy features. Display OptionsĬhoose a frame with “automatic orientation control” so both landscape and portrait pictures correctly display on the frame. Something else to consider: A handful of companies offer subscription plans for extra storage. Videos take up much more space, so if you plan to store more than a few of them, opt for a frame with more memory. Depending on the resolution of your photos, you’ll be able to fit roughly 1,000 images per GB. Most frames have 10 to 50 gigabytes (GB) worth of memory to store photos and videos. If you’re a photography buff, you may want to splurge on the highest-res display. In general, look for at least 1280 pixels. The sharpest ones display images at 2048 pixels wide, often referred to as “2K,” or twice the resolution of a high-definition TV. Lower-end models start at around 800 pixels wide, while high-definition versions clock in at 1280 pixels. SharpnessĬheck the pixel width on the frames you’re considering, so you don’t end up with fuzzy images. You’ll probably want a larger frame for a living room than you would for a nightstand. If the frame is for you, consider where you plan to place it. Older family members will usually appreciate larger frames. Most frames can stand on their own or be wall mounted. You can buy digital picture frames in different screen heights and widths, what’s known as the “aspect ratio.” It’s typically either 16:9 or 16:10, the widescreen rectangular shape of your TV, or 4:3, squarish like old tube TVs. And if you’re buying a frame for someone who doesn’t have Wi-Fi access, you’ll need to make sure it has an option to use it without Wi-Fi. Keep in mind that many Wi-Fi enabled frames store images and videos only in the cloud and stream them to your device, which means you may not see photos if your Wi-Fi goes down. If you want to send a faraway family member or friend a picture at any time (or receive pics from your kid at college), the frame needs to be Wi-Fi enabled. Newer models allow you to wirelessly transmit photos directly from your smartphone or computer to the frame while older, cheaper ones force you to manually drag-and-drop photos onto a USB thumb drive or microSD card from your computer. See which of the following features you’d like, and then price out your options. Or you may end up with a model that’s annoyingly cumbersome to use. Cheaper, low-quality frames may make your pictures look blurry or distorted. Sure, price is a big deal, but it’s not everything. Imagine a grandparent’s delight when a new picture of a graduation, wedding, or other special event appears on their frame! But, just like any other product, some digital picture frames are well made and easy to use while others have wonky photo displays and clunky interfaces. Since many digital picture frames have their own email address, you can send an image to a frame from anywhere in the world. They’re also a popular gift for college students, newlyweds, and older relatives. After all, when was the last time you made a print let alone framed it? Digital picture frames allow you to copy images from your smartphone, computer, or digital camera and display them as a slideshow in your living room or anywhere else you want to show off your memories to family and friends. Vacation snaps, family pictures, close-ups of your pet-they’re probably all trapped on your phone’s camera roll. This time I compared each white to the existing color in our living room (wind’s breath, by benjamin moore). So back to the paint store to grab a few more samples. Snowbound was too stark, origami felt cold-ish. I bought two sample pots and painted little swatches on several different walls (origami white and snowbound, if you’re curious). We initially narrowed down our choices just based on the Sherwin Williams paint chips. Each color looks different depending on lighting, so a white that looks great in a friend’s house in Kansas City might not be the right choice for mine in Seattle. Some whites are cool (with blue undertones) others are warm (with yellow undertones), then there are those with pinky hues or grayish tints, bright whites that feel institutional, creamy whites that read yellow. So white was the obvious choice.īut have you seen how many different white paints there are?! It’s slightly obnoxious and overwhelming. It’s a fine color, but started feeling dark – especially during our dreary Pacific Northwest winters when the sun doesn’t show up much. We moved into our home 8 years ago and the walls and ceilings were all the same khaki-ish color. One peek at my living area pinterest board and you’ll instantly see what my eye is drawn to. I’ve been craving clean, fresh, light, bright. I felt ridiculous going back and forth, painting swatches, staring at five whites that looked exactly the same and yet I also didn’t want to waste money on a color that we didn’t love. There are a million bigger issues out there than choosing paint colors, I am well aware. And when you’re paying a bunch of money to have nearly every wall in your house painted, you really, really want to make sure you pick the right color. Yay for nice people who paint houses for a living! They do such amazing work and they are quick. I’ll tell you what, I may never go back to painting myself again. Besides the difficulty factor, it would also take us weeks, and we just don’t have time with kids and soccer and work and the holidays coming up. But the places that needed new paint the most – the stairway, ceilings, hallways and tall walls in the living room – were not areas I was excited about working on. I really don’t mind it and do a decent job. Well, once we pulled up all the carpet and existing hardwoods downstairs in preparation for the floor install, we decided it was the right time to paint the walls. We made our final selection, placed the order and have let them acclimate in the house for the past few weeks (sneak peeks coming!). I posted about our flooring options and it was helpful to run through all of the choices and hear what you had to say. In the meantime, we’re living in a construction zone with all of our furniture moved out and no stove to cook on (which just means eating out or at friends’ houses and I’m not complaining about that!). The floors were ripped up last week, the walls needed a fresh coat of paint and the new floors will be installed this week. We’ve been waiting years to do a few big projects to our house and finally took the plunge. The reason why Elana has better match-ups is probably due to people metagaming. I've played both sides in that, it's like. Even without them, it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. But it's not a match-up that you can't tech against, just run x3 Angelic Barrage and x3 Mainyu, you are now already nearing a passable win-rate. fast builds of Blood are going to go in Bloods favor. The thing is if you play the Elana side of the game-plan, you nailed it precisely, you open up all of the removal D-Shift has to being live. If they do, they are in very (VERY!) specific ones. This is to give people an example build on how to put together the top tier meta decks (sometimes decks might be tech'ed) for everyone that is new and can't navigate on the japanese sites. In the D tier, we are ranking the cards that have a pick rate below 20% - these cards are sometimes used in decks as placeholders until a better card is acquired but rarely make it to the meta decks. They can be used in very specific decks and can be great situationally. While the cards in this tier are not that popular, averaging between a 20% and 40% use rate, they are not exactly "bad" either. These are cards that you can find useful quite often. S+ Tier | S Tier | A Tier | B Tier | C Tier | D TierĪ tier cards have a popularity between 60% and 80%, which basically means they are found in over half of the decks you'll ever face. Until then, here is our complete Shadowverse tier list of all the cards in the game! So, if you want to learn which are the best decks in the current meta, you can check out our other article on the best Shadowverse decks! No card in the game is "bad" per se, but how well it complements a deck is what really determines its tier. If you have a specific deck that is using cards that we've ranked in the lower tiers, don't despair - we've ranked them based on their pick rate and how well they fit in the most commonly used decks in the game. Naturally, a card will have to fill a specific role - deal damage to a specific unit, grant various effects, or summon Artifacts, to name a few. With new cards added to the game regularly, we will see changes made to the cards picked by players based on how well they fit in specific decks. In other words, you may have a Vania, Crimson Majesty which goes extremely well everywhere (hence it's S+ tier), but on the opposite end we have the Angel of Adjudication card which can be used in the Enhance Portal deck, but even there it can be replaced by better-fitting ones. The difference between a card that ranks high and one that isn't top-tier is simply based on the synergy between that card and the rest of the cards you can have in a deck. Some cards, since they are extremely good, are used in almost every single deck, therefore making them top-tier, and a must-have for every Shadowverse player. The Shadowverse tier list we've created ranks every single card released in the game based on its strength and usage. How we ranked the best cards in Shadowverse for this tier list You can take a peek at the Outerplane tier list or League of Pantheons tier list to name a few. There are a lot of similar lists on our website where we rank the best cards or characters in certain games from top to bottom. If you're completely new to the game, you can easily get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of cards you'll be able to collect in Shadowverse however, if you are already familiar with TCGs, you will also know that despite their number, not all of them are viable in the current meta. Shadowverse tier list will uncover the best cards in the game - and before you ask, yeah, we've ranked every single one!
